The food overall was excellent. The dumplings could use some more pork and would definitely not mind a price increase for it. The service was great. The location is nice but I do think a better location with a larger seating area is needed. Hopefully we can get more Belizeans into Sushi. The price point was not bad. I expect to spend around 100 per person when dining out and we were below that margin. It was my first time trying Sushi and experiencing the food was awesome. We got the pork dumplings, fried wontons, rice burger, shrimp tempura and volcano rolls, spicy Salmon and Crab Rolls, and tried a 3 plate desert of Beets, Blueberry Cheescake, Caramel Chocolate Ice Cream. My GF was definitely pleased and said it satisfied her sushi craving. She loves sushi and said she was not disappointed. Overall 4 stars and just my personal bias compared to some other specialty restaurants I've been. Will I go back? Definitely. If you love sushi or just want to taste it.

One of the best sushi I’ve had in Belize City, Miso soup is also really good.

I am just so stoked that this place is actually here in Belize City. To be able to get professional grade sushi in this town is wonderful. The staff is always professional and friendly. Their prices reflect the quality of the food and the establishment itself. They always use fresh local fish, and the experience never varies. I am yet to walk away w/o being totally satisfied. If you love sushi, you do not want to miss this restaurant. For real sushi lovers, ask to replace the cream cheese with actual fresh ingredients.

Ate here for lunch and the food was delicious. Very friendly staff and quick service. I had the rainbow roll, miso soup and green tea ice cream for dessert. Very reasonable prices and would definitely come back during my next diving trip.

The most amazing, authentic Japanese restaurant you will find in the entire country of Belize. My family and I often travel from western Belize just to dine here, and we have never once been disappointed by the food. The owner is always extremely welcoming and mannerly in every way. They even accommodate special dietary needs, and it is possible to customize some dishes for vegan options, which we truly appreciate. They truly are the best, but the only shortcoming lies with some of the waitresses they have hired. On two separate occasions, with different waitresses, we had unpleasant experiences due to a lack of basic hospitality and training. We were not greeted upon arrival, nor were we thanked when leaving. Because of this, we have sadly decided to order takeout only from now on. This is unfortunate because the restaurant is absolutely beautiful inside and out. I am writing this review so the owners know how much we appreciate their amazing restaurant and food, and also so they can address this issue. If you can find a professional waitress with good customer service skills, your restaurant will lack nothing. At the caliber your restaurant operates, the service staff should reflect the same high standard. Twice now, service has been lacking with no friendliness, no manners, and no warmth. It feels like just a job to them rather than an opportunity to create a great dining experience. I suggest hiring someone with more experience and professionalism, perhaps even providing a black apron with your business logo for a polished look. On our last visit, we were the only customers there, yet our dishes were left piling up on the table. Your food and atmosphere are exceptional, and with better trained waitstaff, your restaurant would be perfect in every way.

The service is EXCELLENT! I ordered a tuna avocado salad and didn't know the tuna would be raw. The salad tasted great I'm just not used to raw tuna.. The teriyaki chicken rice burger was delicious though. I just wish it was bigger. The only thing I feel is that the pictures are deceiving and the food is smaller than it appears in the pictures on the menu. But, I'm sure I got an authentic Japanese experience Edited 2025 to correct "receiving" to "deceiving". Originally posted in 2019.

Really good Japanese reasonably priced. Very small / cozy place with nice attentive servers. We got the shrimp and dumpling appetizers, both good. And we shared one of the noodle bowls which they gladly split for us. We would go back.
